​Clothing for a Cause

Clothing for a Cause played an essential role in establishing Haiti ARISE’s legal aid clinic, Bureau d’Assistance Judiciare. After witnessing the deplorable conditions of Haitian prisons in May of 2014, Elisa Humphreys researched and submitted a proposal which was submitted to their Board of Directors in November that same year. Approval was granted, and Bureau d’Assistance Judiciare opened it’s doors in March 2016. In the first year, the clinic assisted 87 prisoners, bringing 75 of them to freedom! There are currently 179 active cases. Clothing for a Cause continues to provide program-specific funding for this clinic.

Clothing for a Cause is proud to support the life-changing efforts of Haiti ARISE Ministries. 

Marc and Lisa Honorat founded Haiti ARISE Ministries from a vision of planting a Bible College to help train godly leaders. This vision grew to encompass everything that Haiti ARISE is now endeavouring to accomplish to help the Haitian people. Marc is a native Haitian and has a desire to see change in his nation, aware of the peoples' plight as he has experienced it himself.
